I don't want to hit rock bottom asking God for my death like Gomorrah and Sodom. So I oughta hold tight and be sure that I got Him, because I know I could not make it in this life without Him.

Call it amazin', I'm gonna praise Him in the midst of the storm. All of my days in all of my ways I hope to trust in the Lord. Often I stray and call on His name. He's been there since I was born. So when I pray, I thank Him for grace He gives in abundance and more. I need to have an upper hand and ask the Lord for help. Righteousness is in demand, am I the man to dwell with the sinners trying to disregard the death knell ringing in my ears louder than the church bells? I need to have courage, but morale is low. I'm getting more discouraged, should I cancel the show? No! I know that I have to go for the sake of even saving maybe half a soul. Whether I do this or not, Jesus' death is not in vain. Whether I'm cold or hot, He is still the same. Whether I flow or clot, He's still moving man. So I choose the Rock for His regardless reign.

So let's see I try to sin less, but can't take the stress. Sometimes I wish the Lord would take it all away already, but I know I got trials to stay on my faith steady so I pray it all will fade when I'm ready to take on the wiles. Even when it gets heavy, 'cause the rain that falls today strengthens a levy in my life. When it gets rough I know it won't break. I've learned to follow the leader, and flee the deceiver. That's what it means to be a believer. And now I'm seeking to see Him, and yes I believe Him. That's how I've come to see that I need Him. He's my strength for the day. So I strengthen my faith through the word every day, as I pray. Keep my flesh to the grave as I'm blessed by your name. Give me grace through my stress and dismay.
