Released in October 1981 'Dare' was The Human Leagues third album on Virgin Record but was by far the most successful. After three hit singles, 'The Sound of The Crowd', 'Love Action' and 'Open Your Heart' the band released 'Don't You Want Me' which went to number 1 around the world and made 'Dare' one of the biggest selling albums of the year.
